This week we have been enjoying the story of The Enormous Turnip.
We read the story together and acted out some of the scenes where everyone pulled and pulled.
Some of the children cut out the characters and stuck them in the right order.
Later in the week we used our fine motor skills to cut up some turnips. It was tricky but they did really well.
We then used our new air fryer to turn the turnips into chips! We all enjoyed tasting them at snack time. They tasted a bit like parsnip.
