This week we have been busy planting. We wanted to cheer up our outdoor play area so we transformed our tyres into planters. The children helped fill the tyres with compost and then we planted tomato plants and various flowers.
The children are looking forward to caring for the new plants and will take turns to water them.
The children are also going to be growing cress over the next few weeks. They each sowed some seeds onto cotton wool and took it home to care for. We look forward to seeing any pictures from home once it’s grown.
