Today we went down to the woods to create some funny faces! The children splatted some salt free dough onto the tree trunk and then they searched the woods for natural resources to make the face features. The children were really imaginative with what they used for eyes, hair and noses.

Once the children had finished we walked around the woods like an art gallery, looking at everyone’s faces. The children told everyone what they had used. At the end, we peeled the dough off the trees to protect the wildlife.
