We have been incubating some chick eggs for the past 21 days in the hope of some fluffy Easter chicks joining us.
We’d given up hope and then last night one hatched which was so eggciting!
After a few hours we moved the chick from the incubator into the brooding cage where he started to fluff up nicely.
The children loved having cuddles and I will keep them up to date with any other chicks that arrive over the holidays.
Once the chicks have grown a bit they will be returned to Lower Shaw Farm who kindly donated the eggs to us.
