Today we all went on a Halloween welly walk around the lake.
All the children dressed up. We had pumpkins, witches, skeletons, cats and lots more.
We stopped by the local postbox to see the new Halloween themed topper.
As we walked around the lake we looked out for some pumpkins that a local lady had put up for the community. We found 13 pumpkins.
When we got back to Sparklers, we all enjoyed a ghost shaped crumpet to warm us up.
In the afternoon, Natalie did some fun face painting to go with their costumes.
In the nature area this week we have been making potions using natural objects, chia seed slime and pumpkin seeds. The children loved pretending to be witches with the big cauldrons.
We have also been practising our numbers and counting on the builders tray by adding the correct potions to the correct cauldron.
